Health and Illness

This course examines the concepts of “health” and “illness” not as simple facts but as experiences and states of being that can be mobilized in the service of institutions, public policy, human resource exploitation and management, and as both/either personal troubles and public problems. Prerequisites: SY101. Exclusions: HS200, SY323, SY322.
